Who are we?
Welcome to the Athena Luxury Living web pages. I'm Paul and I have spent the majority of my working life as a designer and project manager on process & utility projects, always with my clients requirements in mind and an eye for detail
Throughout those last 30+ years I have spent my spare time improving properties to my own high standards. I enjoyed these benefits in my own homes but when it came to moving on I realised that I had added considerable extra value to these properties
In the last few years, I have transitioned to using these skills to a full-time job opportunity. I work collaboratively with a team of other local trades: ground workers, electricians, gas engineers, roofers & plasterers
What can we provide?
I love to create things for other people to enjoy, whether it is a basic garden shed or a complete kitchen transformation
For projects that do not require planning or building control, I can personally carry out all aspects of the build 'in house' including (if required) CAD drawings
When things are a little less straight forward, I can help with and advise regarding planning applications
I have a great team of collaborative tradespersons to call on who would be equally pleased to join
Why the name?
Athena is a goddess in the ancient Greek belief system, often depicted as or associated with the little owl (Athena noctua)
Daughter of Zeus, she was associated with wisdom, just warfare and handicraft
And I absolutely adore little owls
